Some of the world’s last remaining Holocaust survivors meet weekly at Café Zelig in Munich. They get together to share laughs, celebrate, argue, and hold moments of silence and contemplation. Some undertake a journey to their old home territories and discuss their difficulties returning to Germany.
Helen Britton is an original avant-garde artist that creates jewelry and sculptures from materials she gathers and uses artisanal work methods that she is bringing back to life in Germany. The film follows Helen in her studio, through her travels, and the opening of an exhibition.
