Helen Britton was an Australian art student when she arrived for a year of studies in Munich. In the decades that followed, she became an original avant-garde artist that creates jewelry and uses sculptures from materials she gathers and artisanal work methods that she is bringing back to life in Germany. The film follows Helen in her studio, through her travels, and the opening of an exhibition. Hunter presents a portrait of a brilliant artist and an encounter between cultures and working methods that have passed away from the world and original and groundbreaking designs.
