Chip is a cable installer who arrives at the new apartment of Steven, an architect who has just broken up with his girlfriend. The interest shown by Steven makes Chip believe he made a new best friend. When Steven asks to reduce the frequency and duration of their hangouts, the insulted Chip insists on keeping visitations. In the 1990s, Jim Carrey created comedies based on his endless energy.
