The Zone of Interest

The Zone of Interest was first presented at this year's Cannes Film Festival and was awarded the Grand Prize. The movie stunned festival viewers and was immediately branded a leading contender for the Oscars. It centers on the story of Auschwitz commander Rudolf Höss and his wife Hedwig, letting the banality of their lives play out as the horrors of Auschwitz unfold.
