Alon Gur Arye (in Heb.) about the life and work of comedy genius Peter Sellers

The most famous work of film composer Henry Mancini came into the world almost by accident. Mancini sent it, together with the "serious" music he wrote for the film starring Peter Sellers, with a note attached "Maybe you can find something to do with this part in one of the scenes". It appears, of course, at the beginning of the film, and stands out throughout it. A little later it became the basis for the successful animated series of the same name.

USA 1963 | 114 minutes | English | Hebrew subtitles

The opening film of the series introduces bumbling Inspector Clouzeau - and the cartoon character featured in the opening titles. The "Pink Panther" is in fact a famous diamond and Clouzeau tries to catch the man who stole it.
