One of the world’s largest chestnut forests sits hidden in a valley in Kyrgyzstan. The forest contains a rare variety of plants and animals. Every September, the surrounding farmers, including the Tagaev family, make their way to the forest – picking the chestnuts. The film offers majestic images of a life that is slowly disappearing.
