In the 1950s, a neighborhood by the Sea of Galilee. Shalom, a war survivor and former partisan, leads a group of survivors working at the local bottle factory. Eva, a Holocaust survivor, arrives in the neighborhood, and rumors of her actions during the war create tension between Shalom and his friends. Soda portrays the social and emotional struggles faced by Holocaust survivors.
