Hélène and Antoine are raising their young son in the center of Paris. One evening, Hélène goes with a friend to a rock concert when the news of the Bataclan attack starts to come in. It takes Antoine a little while to realize his life is forever changed. After Hélène's body is recognized, as the pain starts to hit, Antoine writes a Facebook post addressed to terrorists entitled "I will not give you my hate…." Based on the true story of Hélène, Antoine, and their son Melvil, this is a dramatic and emotional adaptation of moments of national and personal crisis. Thanks to Pierre Deladonchamps's solid performance, with subdued cinematography and soundtrack, this is a compassionate drama dealing with feelings of sorrow, pain, and turmoil.
