Four 40-something friends come to a realization that they are stuck and that the only solution to their situation is to participate in a social experiment involving alcohol, lots and lots of alcohol. At first everything seems brighter – in their careers and family lives, but all good things must come to an end. Another Round is one of the most talked-about films of the year and a major contender for the Oscars. Thomas Vinterberg (Festen) uses irony and subversion to present a clever and entertaining feature.
