From The Good Wife creators comes this new series, set in Washington DC which offers an allegoric take on politics’ spiral into extremism. Combining suspense, humor and the paranormal, the series follows Laurel, a documentarist and daughter of a high-profile politician who starts working for her Senate whip brother. There, she realizes that not only has the government stopped functioning, but that aliens have been eating the brains of Congress members! Laurel teams up with a pragmatic Republican, a doctor whose father died under mysterious circumstances, and an eccentric genius who concludes that the Capital is under attack by aliens. Together, they all get to the bottom of these events.
