Join us for an experiential tour of the Israel Film Archive. We will visit the archive storage spaces, see and touch 16 mm and 35 mm celluloid film and other historical film formats, tour the professional digitization laboratory for converting film reels to digital files in 4K quality, hear about the archive's efforts to preserve the Israeli film heritage, and about the challenges of preserving the digital copies. We will realize what the work of the archivists includes and how it is intended to serve the film community in Israel, researchers and cinematheques all over the country and the world.
The tour is free and open to the general public with advance registration. The number of places is limited.
After the tour, the audience is invited to participate in the event A Visual Tribute the Western Negev Settlements >>>
