Four longtime girlfriends from West LA. Olivia left a teaching job and is working as a maid. Mike, her new boyfriend, doesn't seem worthy of her. Franny, a homemaker, loves money and there are no apparent problems in her marriage. Jane, a fashion designer, doesn't seem bothered that everyone says her husband is gay. Christine, a scriptwriter, works with her husband David. Their teamwork produces constant friction.
