WWII France. A Jewish boy is sent to the country home of an elderly couple. The man, a WWI hero and anti-Semitic Pétain supporter, doesn‘t know of the boy's Jewish identity. The boy mocks the old man and innocently asks about his Jewish nose or about how Jesus was a Jew. In time, a strong bond grows between them. Will the man discover Claude‘s Jewish origin?
