In 1972, Aretha Franklin  returned to her gospel roots to record what will become her most successful album – Amazing Grace. The young Sydney Pollack documented the recording sessions, but for various reasons the film was never complete. Now, the masterful result – a pleasure for the eyes and ears – is finally available.
