Asia and Marek bought a house in the oldest forest in Europe. This is where their three children were born, raised, and educated. Far from social institutions and immersed in a rich environment, the family created a unique routine in a place they consider a haven. This routine is fragmented when they realize that the forest serves as a transit route for refugees seeking to reach the EU. Now, their private paradise has become a political space, and life as they know it will change. Against the backdrop of the vast forest, the refugees resemble shadows passing by in the darkness.
