Tsivia Barkai-Yacov

International Competition Director and writer, graduate of the Sam Spiegel Film School, Tsivia’s final project Vika received a special mention at the Berlin Festival. Red Cow, her debut feature film, premiered at 2018 Berlin, and won Best Israeli Feature,Debut Film and Actress at the 2018 Jerusalem Film Festival.

Hadar Porubanova

International Competition Hadar Porubanova was born in Czechoslovakia. She founded and ran the International Francophone Film Festival in Bratislava FIFFBA from 2003-2014. She was audiovisual attaché to the French Embassy in Slovakia - French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, journalist at the Slovak National Radio, Broadcast in French, and director and founder of the Non-Profit Organization FIFFBA. Hadar moved to Israel in 2011 and since January 2017 she serves as a new owner and Managing Director of Ruth Films - an international marketing & distribution company that sells and promotes high-quality documentaries around the world.

Frank Stern

Frank Stern, film historian with focus on German-language and international Jewish cinema, has taught at universities in Israel, the United States, Germany, and Austria. He is President of the Jewish Film Club Vienna, involved in research on the role of Jekkes in early Israeli film production, promotes Israeli film in Austria, and recently published a book on the films of Hedy Lamarr.

Magali Van Reeth

Interfaith Cinema Competition Film reviewer for the SIGNIS website and for a network of French Catholic parishes and French Catholic Medias. Leading Premiere screenings in commercial cinemas and a workshop on Cinema and Spirituality in prison. Member of different SIGNIS, Ecumenical, Inter-religious and Fipresci juries. President of SIGNIS international Cinema Desk.

Sarah Tuttle-Singer

Interfaith Cinema Competition A widely-read writer for Time, Kveller, and Times of Israel and the new media editor at Times of Israel. She speaks internationally and recently received a prestigious ROI fellowship grant from the Schusterman Foundation. Sarah is the author of Jerusalem Drawn and Quartered, a memoir about her experience living in each of the four quarters of the Old City.  She lives in Jerusalem, Israel.

Kadar Herini

Interfaith Cinema Competiton Born in Hezma, Herini studied theater in the College for Arts in Ramallah. In 2001/2 he studied theater with Allen Stuart in Al-Hakawati Theater in East Jerusalem. Herini directed and acted in lead roles in both Arab and Jewish theaters, and in television series such as Fauda. In 2009, he established the Ytheater Group.

Hélène Schoumann

Journalist and writer Hélène Schoumann is a correspondent for The Jerusalem Post (French Edition), hosts a radio show on cinema, and is the author of a dictionary on Israeli cinema. Schoumann serves as President of the Israeli Film Festival in Paris.

Katia Malatesta
Katia Malatesta holds a PhD in History of the Visual Arts from the University of Pisa and works in the public administration for Cultural Heritage of the Province of Trento, Italy. She is a member of the Trento Centre for International Cooperation, the Trentino Forum for Peace and Human Rights and of the National Coordination of Religions for Peace.
Roni Mahadav-Levin

Israeli Short Film Competition Roni Mahadav-Levin has served as Manager of the Jerusalem Cinematheque since March 2018. He was Director of the Holon Cinematheque from 2014-2018. From 2002-2013, Mahadav-Levin worked at Orlando Films Distribution, as Distribution and Business Manager. Additional projects include the Jerusalem film festival, the Haifa film festival, the establishment of the AKI-NO Festival in Israel and radio broadcasting in Kol-Israel.
