Born in Hezma, Herini studied theater in the College for Arts in Ramallah. In 2001 – 2002 he studied theater with Allen Stuart in Al-Hakawati Theater in East Jerusalem. Herini directed and acted in lead roles in both Arab and Jewish theaters, and in television series such as Fauda. In 2009, he established the Ytheater Group – theater that uses a shared performance language that combines Arabic and Hebrew without verbal translation.
