Cinema of the Middle East seeks to bring to the forefront the best films from the Middle East, in the hopes that placing these works center stage will expose the varied cultures and societies of the region and the issues they are facing to the local audience.
The films will be accompanied by short lectures about the wide social, cultural, and political issues that rise from the movies themselves and offer innovative and unique perspectives to observe reality, human condition, and creativity.
The program is a collaboration with The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute
