Raphaël Nadjari

Description

Born in 1970 in Marseilles, France, Rafael Nadjari attended a Jewish school and yeshiva in Strasbourg, while starting his art and theater studies. Nadjari worked as a director for ARTE, and in 1999 relocated to New York, where he directed his debut film The Shade, based on a novella by Dostoyevsky. His films include I am Josh Polonski’s Brother, Avanim (Stones), Night Song, A Strange Course of Event and the documentary A History of Israeli Cinema
