Dir.: Jean Eustache | France 1963 | 39 minutes | French | Hebrew subtitles

Two penniless friends meet in a Parisian square, looking for some fun with women. They wander the streets of the Menoratorium district and meet a young woman, whom they invite to a dance club. Eustache's first short film already drafts some themes that would occupy him throughout his work, mainly examining gender relations set against class tension.

Dir.: Jean Eustache | France 1966 | 49 minutes | French | Hebrew subtitles

Daniel needs some money to buy a duffle coat that is in fashion, so he agrees to work for a photographer by dressing up as Santa Claus. He discovers that it is much easier to meet girls when he is in his costume. The film, shot in Eustache's childhood town, contains many autobiographical themes and has clear New Wave influences.
