The Guajajara people in the Amazonas decide not to stand idly by while their land and that of the uncontacted Awá people is destroyed. They form a group of forest guardians and, in a thriller-like film, we accompany these guards as they do everything in their power to stop the looting of natural treasures and protect their community, their tradition, and the planet's future. At times, they achieve their goals, but other times, the results are tragic. The filmmakers had unprecedented access to the community and sensitive materials and the result is full of empathy and new insights on the relationship between man and his environment.
