Little Women

Greta Gerwig presents an adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel. The plot follows the four daughters of the March family during the American Civil War, and the personal and romantic tensions that shape their transition from youth to adulthood. As in previous works, Gerwig explores how young women face a reality that works to thwart their ambitions, and with sensitivity and kindness she presents a clever and heartfelt film.
