Dune: Part Two

In the second part of the adaptation of Herbert's "Dune," director Denis Villeneuve manages to preserve the achievements of the first part, primarily the transformation of the mythological text into cinematic imagery that conveys the emotions and thoughts of the original text. If the first part of the adaptation laid the foundations of the plot, here Villeneuve moves the narrative forward toward its resolution.
