Bona is a high school student in Finland. From an early age he emerged as gifted Counter Strike gamer. The film follows this young man in two main arenas: the safe space offered by his sports psychologist and that of competition, public visibility, and teamwork. The Gamer, like any good sports movie, introduces the viewer into a competitive world that is full of tensions and pressures, foes and friends, failures, and moments of pure elation.
