Mother Earth or Our Lady of Guadalupe are superheroines in Mayan culture in Mexico. Sacred and strong women in the cultural sphere. But in the director's private sphere is his actual mother – a single parent and eccentric. Against the background of scenes from the daily life of the women of the community - cooking, ritual works, the village streets - Sero seeks to settle the tension between religious devotion and reality, to create a dialogue between mother and son, to deal with the scars of the past, and look to the future.
