Since the Law and Justice party came to power in Poland, a campaign against the independence of the judicial system has commenced. Judges whose rulings did not please the government found themselves the target of dismissal or arrest. The new government tried to paint the judges as "elitist and incompetent" at the very least, and in worse cases, as opponents of the government. Within and externally the judicial system, there is a confrontation campaign against the weakening of the judicial system. The film follows Judge Igor Tuleya, who has become the face of this clash, as he participates in workshops, demonstrations, and even rock festivals to protect democracy from slipping into authoritarianism.
