On a voyage from the USA to Europe, Liza recognizes one of the passengers. She recalls her actions in Auschwitz and the connection between her and that passenger - Marta. This memory will not be the only flashback. Passenger is one of the first films to deal with the Holocaust. Munk took an impressively measured and restrained approach that produced a work that should not be missed.
