In Israel, the Forbidden Journey, a four-part documentary, director Jean-Pierre Lledo embarks on a quest to understand why he rejected the Jewish world, Judaism, and Israel for 50 years. This is a cinematic essay that goes back-and-forth between the director's life story and Jewish history. Chapter Three: Purim.
The director realizes that while all peoples had been massacred at one period or another, the Jews, had been subjected to hatred at all time. Arriving in Israel, he believed that the issue of Peace would be a problem; he was mistaken.
