Israeli Short Film Competition 2021 - Jury
Gilad Inbar

Director, producer, and film editor, Gilad Inbar graduated with honors from the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School.  Mr. Inbar directed the documentary films SHLOMO BAR – A MUSICAL DOCUMENTARY (2021) and THE HUNGARIAN CUBE – A JOURNEY WITH ANDRE HADJU (2013). He edited several films and series, including THE TESTAMENT (Amichai Greenberg, 2017), which won the Best Film Award at the Haifa Film Festival and was screened at the Venice Film Festival, and SUICIDE (Benny Friedman, 2015), Utopia Festival Award and was screened on Netflix, HAMIDRASHA (Danny Syrkin, 2018), and KIBBUTZNIKIM (Boaz Frankel, 2020).

Hélène Schoumann

Journalist and writer Hélène Schoumann is a correspondent for The Jerusalem Post (French Edition), hosts a radio show on cinema, and is the author of a dictionary on Israeli cinema. Schoumann serves as President of the Israeli Film Festival in Paris.

Avigail Sperber

Avigail Sperber is founder of Pardes Productions. She is a producer, director, and cinematographer for documentaries, TV series & dramas, artistic advisor to various foundations, academic film lecturer, and mentor. Over the past 25 years, Ms. Sperber has been involved in dozens of award-winning projects, including PROBATION TIME (Best Israeli Film, Docaviv; Best Documentary, Israel Documentary Film Forum) and THE HANGMAN (Best Documentary, Haifa FF, Special Mention, IDFA, Best Documentary, Israel Documentary Forum).
