In a small community in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, the age-old gender division is alive and well. The women are in charge of all the housework, while the men are seated in cafes or taking naps. When Fadma and her family arrive at the village from Casablanca, she soon challenges the status quo and leads a rebellion of the local women demanding equality.
