When Andy Goodrich's wife checks herself into rehab, he's left to care for his 9-year-old twins. The gallery owner, who wasn't entirely aware of the extent of his wife's addiction to painkillers, seeks help from Grace, his daughter from his first marriage. Grace, 30 and pregnant, discovers that her damaged father is not changing, but perhaps she can still fix him. Goodrich is a family comedy that doesn't hide its kind-hearted intentions. There's nothing here we haven't seen before, and yet, thanks to the always fantastic Michael Keaton - who doesn't hide his prickly persona - the result is funny, emotional, and heart-wrenching.
