Unspoken

When Noam, a closeted, religious teenager finds a love letter written to his grandfather by another man before the Holocaust, he discovers that he might not be alone. Struggling with his own identity and hoping to find validation in his grandfather’s history, he sets out on an odyssey to discover the truth. With the help of his high-school crush, he decides to find the mysterious author of the letter and uncover both his grandfather’s identity as well as his own. Delicately handled and brilliantly understated, Unspoken refers both to the history of Nazi persecution of homosexuals and Noam’s coming out as a young modern Orthodox Jew.
