Thomas Rongen, the newly fired football coach of the USA Junior National Team, accepted an offer to coach the American Samoa national team on the other side of the world. He soon comes to regret this decision when he learns just how bad the team is. His goal is to bring the team to score one goal, and along the way he learns a lesson or two about what is and is not important in life.
