First Snow of Summer

A romantic fairy tale for adults. Nine-year-old Alexander grows up with his loving grandmother, after his father decided to live in the tunnel systems of the Vienna underground, following the death of Alexander’s mother. On his tenth birthday, Alexander promises his grandmother never to fall in love in order not to share his father’s fate. As a young adult, he starts to work in a small lost-and-found office for the Vienna underground to be close to his father. Here he meets the beautiful and vivacious Caro and his promise is harder to keep. A charming and humorous film reminiscent of the works of directors Wes Anderson and Jean-Pierre Jeunet.
