A gang of criminals wreaks havoc on a rural region in Thailand. Among them is a handsome gunslinger, Dom (a.k.a. Black Tiger), who landed in the world of crime against his will. Many years earlier he promised to marry his love, Rumpoey, but at the moment of truth, Black Tiger is caught in the middle of a gun battle and misses the wedding. Rumpoey's unforgiving father decides to marry her off to another man, a cop, and in the meantime, the head of Dom's gang accuses our hero of treason... A tribute to and parody of the Western and the classic tear-jerker, "Tears of the Black Tiger" gained cult status in Thailand and in the festival circuit.
