In the not-so-distant future, Elaine is a gold-digger serial dater. When it comes to the bedroom, she sends in her Android double. Charles sends his double to all of his dates, and only if things develop does he bother to have an actual encounter. But when the two android doubles meet and fall in love, Elaine and Charles have to team up to catch them. With the current popularity of AI, Robots explores what romance looks like in a world in which truth and invention are difficult to distinguish. The film approaches these issues without pretensions and offers 90 minutes of nonbinding enjoyment.
