Nimby – Not in My Back Yard

Together with her German-Iranian girlfriend Kata, Mervi travels to her hometown in Finland to confront her parents and come out of the closet. There, she finds out that she’s not the only one hiding secrets. The two women find themselves in the midst of a clash between communities that make up a picturesque town in Finland, pastoral only in appearance. A sharp-tongued comedy that manages will leave you surprised, laughing your heart out, and keeping you on the edge of your seats.
