In 1975 a group of young idealists opened history's only collectively run, anti-profit, worker's managed kosher restaurant. Located in the Washington, DC area and influenced by social and political upheavals in the US and Israel's Kibbutz movement, the collective ran the restaurant based upon complete equality and service. Even after it closed, idealism continued to guide the collective and their family members in their choice of careers and political activism. This is not just an interesting history lesson, but an entertaining film that inspires people to achieve change.
