Paris, winter. Forty-something Angele, romantic and independent, works in a beauty salon. After her latest lover jilts her, another man starts trailing her and after a few days declares his love. The members of the all-female staff can't resist to meddle with this affair. The fabulous sets, clever dialogues and brilliant acting (especially by Nathalie Baye) keep the plot from falling into gushy sentimentalism.
