In 1964, Ettore Scola directed Let's Talk About Women, nine episodes on romance and relationships. Lina Wertmüller's response is this group picture of the male specimen. Four episodes starring Nino Manfredi: an industrial exploiter convinces his wife to steal and save the business; an old knife thrower is losing his eyesight; a cynical professor would rather kill his wife than see her sexually satisfied; an ungrateful husband is indifferent to his wife's labor.
