Three Kings

In the aftermath of the Gulf War, four soldiers, who set out to steal gold pilfered from Kuwait, discover people who need their help. David O. Russell's breakout film is an unconventional war film that follows in the footsteps of The Dirty Dozens but brings in touches of the screwball comedy. The plot twists, the sense of absurdity, and the cynicism are achieved through astounding cinematography, in which the unusual coloring help to charge the film with an absurd slapstick atmosphere.
