1957. Kathy and Frank Whitaker are a perfect couple living in a small Connecticut town. But their perfect image is shattered when Kathy falls for their black gardener. When she discovers her husband in the arms of another man, she can no longer complacently accept the trappings of her hitherto "normal" life.
