Nikolaus Geyrhalter travels to abandoned sites around the world: from Fukushima’s forbidden zone, through deserted buildings – hospitals, schools, empty shopping centers – to present how nature defeats mankind. With a series of stylized static shots and with no human presence, the result is an art work that stimulates the senses.
