A small-town English widow, facing financial troubles after her husband's suicide, turns to agriculture of an illegal kind. As usual in British comedies, the film is populated by many eccentric characters, including Grace herself, played with uncanny depth by "Secrets and Lies" star Brenda Blethyn.
