A young woman from a good home begins dating a slightly older man. Before long, she drifts away from her relationships and routines, drawn into a closed world that consists only of the two of them—and a few large dogs tied outside the front door. Though her partner never lays a hand on her, she lives in fear that leaving him will bring unimaginable consequences. Out at Six tells the personal story of Livi, the filmmaker, through an eight-stage timeline developed from research into hundreds of cases in which women were murdered by their partners.
