At the height of his career, the talented orchestra conductor Thibaut discovers he has a blood disease. Blood tests reveal, unexpectedly, that he is adopted and has another brother. Jimmy, brought up in a humble background, works at a school, helps his mother, and has a natural musical talent. Thibaut recognizes Jimmy’s unfulfilled potential and decides to nurture it.
