Twenty years after the Disengagement, we return to the story that was never fully told. Through a rare archive of intimate home conversations recorded in the early years following the uprooting of Gush Katif, a charged emotional reality of pain, loss, and a search for direction is revealed. The camera captured moments of heartbreak, hope, and coping — from the living room, at the Shabbat table, at the heart of the family. Now, two decades later, it returns to those same families to ask: What remains of the wound? What does the “disengagement” look like today: not from the headlines, but from the heart?
