How to Make a Killing

Michel and Cathy live in the Jura region of eastern France. One night, a bear crosses their path, and in trying to avoid it, Michel crashes into another car, killing its passengers and uncovering a large sum of money. Frank Dubosc created this black comedy with the same magic that made Rolling to You and Rumba Therapy hits. French critics likened it to the Coen brothers' Fargo but without exaggeration. Dubosc, along with the comic talent of Laure Calamy, crafts unique characters in snowy landscapes, resulting in a dark yet enjoyable comedy.
