A surprising opportunity sparks hope among the women of the village of Jisr al-Zarqa—to establish, for the first time, their own space, a women's center in the village. While a new upscale neighborhood is being built on the village’s land by the sea, threatening its character, and as local violence shakes their world, a group of women face both internal and external oppression together, aiming to change the reality of their lives. From within this intimate circle emerges a quiet strength and a shared feminine destiny that grows in contrast to the world outside.
