A dramatic deconstruction of Joseph Goebbels’s deadly propaganda machine. While Hitler is at the height of his power, Joseph Goebbels serves as the mastermind behind the images, speeches, and films that prepared the German people for the mass murder of Jews. When the war is lost, Goebbels conceives his last staging, with the murder of his family, Hitler's, and his own suicide in the Berlin bunker. Seven Holocaust survivors share personal experiences with Hitler's and Goebbels' actions throughout the film.
